If any proof was needed of how uninformed the mainstream press is, I've seen countless references to him as a "house/dance pioneer" -- their words, not mine. He's a solid producer though, and I like a few of the tweaks he brings to the Madonna album (which isn't to say I actually like the album). I know I'm a pop whore, but I was strangely resistent to Ray Of Light and this new one doesn't rate much more than a pleasant listen to my ears. And speaking of over-rated, Radiohead hasn't really charmed me since The Bends... .John. Now Playing: Metamatics - SpookTinselShoal -- ahhh, now *that's* sublime... I hope the new album is good. That's funny, a fifteen minutes ago before I entered internet to check my mailbox and read your messages I saw a Madonna's video from the new album (in which she plays chess with someone) and for the first time I noticed idm-ish blips and crunches inside the track... Hmm... is it true that idm goes into masses? I don't know if I'd like to see that - usually it is the way to spoil a good thing... Alien np.
